‘Spending a week in Ferschnitz, Austria in the framework of the ICMT was an experience I shall greatly cherish. It is rare to come across such optimal conditions for studying and delving into music - the isolation which brings with it a unique peace of mind, the enormous hospitality shown to us by the hosts, and the individual time we had to spend with Imogen Cooper create an atmosphere which cannot be found in most other courses. I also greatly appreciate the fact that during the week I spent in Ferschnitz, we were also able to enjoy lengthy, fruitful, and meaningful discussions (about music and so many other things), something one rarely finds the time and space to do nowadays. Having returned after this week to London and to my usual routine, I found that I had regained clarity of mind and a spirit I had longed for. Having participated in many courses over the past few years, I can say with certainty that the week spent in Ferschnitz was one of the most unique and illuminating experiences I have ever had.‘

‘The week spent in Eygalieres was truly ideal for music making. In the midst of tight schedules and frequent traveling, it was such a relief to be able to spend a week in such an enchanting part of the world.
Working with Imogen is a transformative experience. With her unparalleled musicianship, sharp ear, and incisive mind, she raises the most important questions. The advice I received from her during this week has been of enormous value to all works I am performing, not only those which we worked on. And of course, the hospitality of Pat and Bryan is a whole experience in itself. Between Pat's sublime meals and Bryan's indomitable energy and humour, there was never a dull moment! ‘
