Yves Paternot Prize for the most outstanding musician
Lied and Opera Academy of the Verbier.

I had the privilege of participating in the ICMT masterclass week last May, after a very long opera run. Being able to work on art song again, a musical genre I cherish, with musicians I deeply admire, Imogen Cooper and Felicity Lott was both inspiring and thrilling. Because there are so few scholars, there is time for work and lessons, as much as there is time for artistic exchange and rest. From the quality of the teaching to the warm hospitality of our hosts, Eygalières was the perfect break from professional obligations where I was able to only focus on music. Singing the final trio of Der Rosenkavalier with Sarah Gilford and one of the greatest Marschallins ever, Felicity Lott, is a memory I will always treasure.’
